Das iPhone findet meinen Mac nicht.
Pith muss auf dem Mac laufen, der Mac muss wach sein, und beide Geräte brauchen denselben Apple-Account mit eingeschaltetem iCloud. Warten Sie danach eine Minute und öffnen Sie die iPhone-App neu.
„Warte auf den iCloud-Schlüsselbund“
Schalten Sie den iCloud-Schlüsselbund auf beiden Geräten ein (Einstellungen, Ihr Name, iCloud, Passwörter und Schlüsselbund) und warten Sie einige Minuten. Hilft das nicht, können Sie mit „Neu anfangen“ alles löschen und einen neuen Schlüssel erzeugen. Das löscht Ihre Gespräche.
Antworten beginnen erst nach vielen Sekunden.
Über iCloud ist das normal. Apple nennt keine Zeit dafür, und die Verzögerung schwankt. Im selben WLAN wird die Verbindung direkt und Antworten erscheinen live. Die App zeigt den Mittelwert Ihrer letzten Antworten.
Mein Mac schläft, die Nachricht bleibt hängen.
iCloud kann einen schlafenden Mac nicht aufwecken. Die Nachricht wartet und wird beantwortet, wenn der Mac wieder wach ist. In den Mac-Einstellungen können Sie den Mac am Netzteil wach halten.
Das Modell ist zu groß für meinen Mac.
Pith empfiehlt nur Modelle, die höchstens 60 Prozent des Arbeitsspeichers brauchen. Wählen Sie ein kleineres Modell unter „Modelle“.

Common questions
My iPhone cannot find my Mac.
Pith must be running on the Mac, the Mac must be awake, and both devices need the same Apple account with iCloud on. Wait a minute, then reopen the iPhone app.
“Waiting for iCloud Keychain”
Switch on iCloud Keychain on both devices (Settings, your name, iCloud, Passwords and Keychain) and wait a few minutes. If that does not help, “Start fresh” deletes everything and makes a new key. That deletes your conversations.
Replies take many seconds to start.
Through iCloud that is normal. Apple gives no figure for it, and the delay varies. On the same Wi-Fi the connection becomes direct and replies appear live. The app shows the median of your recent replies.
My Mac is asleep and my message is stuck.
iCloud cannot wake a sleeping Mac. The message waits and is answered when the Mac is awake again. In the Mac settings you can keep the Mac awake while it is on power.
The model is too large for my Mac.
Pith recommends only models that need at most 60 percent of the memory. Pick a smaller model under “Models”.
