- unrichtige Daten berichtigen lassen (Art. 16 DSGVO),

I have not appointed a data protection officer because there is no legal obligation to do so.
Summary
Loneflaw is a pattern game for iPhone. Puzzles are generated on the device and your progress stays there. There is no user account and no server of mine. Between runs the game shows Google AdMob ads; before any ad loads, the app asks for your decision with Google's consent form. There are no analytics, crash-reporting or tracking services of my own.
Saved game
The app saves your progress in a file in its own storage area on your device: Signals, chapter progress, module ranks, lives, statistics, settings and your Daily results. A previous copy is kept next to it so that an interrupted save cannot destroy anything. Both files stay on the device and contain nothing that identifies you.
Advertising
Loneflaw shows automatic ads between runs and videos that you start yourself for an extra life or a second chance. Buying "Still Mode" removes the automatic ads for good; the optional videos still load an ad when you start one.
Consent
In the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland, the app shows Google's consent form (User Messaging Platform) before the first ad. Only then does it start Google's advertising software (Google Mobile Ads SDK). The app stores your decision on your device so that you are not asked at every launch; this storage is necessary to manage your consent (Section 25 (2) No. 2 TDDDG). Loneflaw does not ask for App Tracking Transparency permission and does not use your advertising identifier (IDFA).
With your consent
If you consent in the form, Google may store and read information on your device, for example identifiers used to cap how often an ad is shown and to measure its performance. Depending on your choices, the ads are personalised, meaning tailored to your presumed interests, or non-personalised. The legal basis is your consent (Section 25 (1) TDDDG, Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR).
Without your consent
If you decline, Google may serve limited ads. According to Google, these involve no personalisation and use neither identifiers nor your device's local storage. Only the data needed to deliver and display an ad and to prevent fraud is processed, in particular your IP address and technical details such as device type, operating system and language. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR; my legitimate interest is funding the free game with non-personalised advertising.
Google as recipient
The ads are provided by Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland. Google processes the data as an independent controller and may transfer it to Google LLC in the USA. Google LLC is certified under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework; the transfer is based on the European Commission's adequacy decision of 10 July 2023 (Art. 45 GDPR). How long Google keeps data is set out in the Google Privacy Policy. Google explains how it uses data from its partners' apps at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.
Measurement by Apple
Whether an ad led to an app install can be measured through SKAdNetwork. Apple designed this method so that it identifies neither you nor your device to me or to the advertising partners.
Changing your decision
You can change your decision at any time in the app under Settings, Privacy and help, Advertising choices. If this entry is missing, no consent form applies in your region.
In-app purchases
Apple alone processes purchases through the App Store. I never see your payment details. The app only receives confirmation from Apple that a purchase is valid. "Still Mode" can be restored with Restore Purchases; "Full Focus" refills your lives at once and is used up in the process.
Game Center
If you are signed in to Game Center, Apple shares your Game Center identity with the game so that scores and achievements can be submitted. Only a score or an achievement identifier is sent. Game Center is optional; every mode can be played while signed out.
Notifications
If you turn on the full focus reminder, the game schedules one local notification for the moment your lives are full again. It is scheduled on the device; no server is involved. Loneflaw sends no other reminders or promotional notifications. You can turn the reminder off in the app or in the iOS Settings app.
Sharing
If you share a Daily result, the iOS share sheet opens with a short line of text and a row of squares. The game uploads nothing; you decide where the text goes.
Permissions
Loneflaw asks only for notifications, and only when you turn on the full focus reminder. The game never asks for tracking, location, camera, microphone, photos or contacts.
Internet connection
Playing needs no internet connection: puzzles are generated and checked on the device, and the Daily comes from the date. The app connects to load the consent form and ads, for purchases and for Game Center. If you tap a link to my website, it opens in your browser.
App Store
You download the app from Apple's App Store. Apple processes data about the download, purchases and your Apple Account under its own responsibility; the Apple Privacy Policy applies. I never receive payment details. Apple gives me only aggregated sales and download figures that do not identify anyone.
If you have turned on "Share With App Developers" under Settings, Privacy & Security, Analytics & Improvements on your device, Apple also gives me crash reports and usage statistics for the app. Apple passes them on only in a form that does not identify you, and I use them only to find bugs. You can turn the option off there at any time.
Backups
Your device may include the app's data in an iCloud backup or in a backup on your computer. Your device settings decide whether and where that happens; iCloud backups are covered by Apple's Privacy Policy. I have no access to such backups.
Children
Loneflaw is rated 4+, and I do not knowingly collect data from children. The Collect or Continue decision risks in-game Signals only: they cannot be bought, sold, cashed out or transferred, and no purchase affects the outcome of a run.
Deleting data
Deleting the app removes the saved game and settings completely. For data that Google processes for advertising, please contact Google.
Your rights
I receive no personal data from the game myself. Google and Apple answer requests about data they process under their own responsibility.
Where I process personal data about you, you may, subject to the statutory conditions,
- request access to that data (Art. 15 GDPR),
- have inaccurate data corrected (Art. 16 GDPR),
- request erasure of your data (Art. 17 GDPR),
- request restriction of processing (Art. 18 GDPR), and
- receive your data in a common, machine-readable format (Art. 20 GDPR).
An informal message to info@tiborczekay.com or through the contact form is enough.
Withdrawing consent
You may withdraw your consent at any time with effect for the future (Art. 7 (3) GDPR). This does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before the withdrawal.
Right to object
Where I process data on the basis of Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR (legitimate interests), you may object to that processing at any time on grounds relating to your particular situation (Art. 21 GDPR). I will then stop processing the data unless I can demonstrate compelling legitimate grounds that override your interests, rights and freedoms, or the processing is needed to establish, exercise or defend legal claims.
Complaint to a supervisory authority
You may lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority, in particular in the member state of your habitual residence, your place of work or the place of the alleged infringement (Art. 77 GDPR).
Automated decisions
I make no automated decisions within the meaning of Art. 22 GDPR. If you have agreed to personalised advertising, Google selects ads on the basis of an interest profile (profiling). This has no legal effect on you and does not similarly significantly affect you.
