Parfokal is an iPhone video camera built around full-height capture. Focus, exposure, white balance, ISO and shutter are manual controls. The available frame rates and recording formats follow what the device reports.
Colour
Monitor with your own LUT.
Import .cube LUTs for monitoring or bake them into the recorded file. Apple Log and ProRes 422 HQ are available on supported hardware, alongside HEVC. Footage and LUTs stay accessible in Files for the next stage of editing.
Limits
The hardware sets the options.
Not every iPhone supports every codec or colour profile. Open Gate recordings also take more storage than cropped recordings of the same duration. Footage remains local to the device; location tagging is optional.
