- unrichtige Daten berichtigen lassen (Art. 16 DSGVO),

Summary
Quizabend is a party quiz for iPhone: one phone is passed around the table. There is no user account, no server, no advertising and no analytics or tracking. What the app stores stays on your device, and I receive none of it. The terms of use also apply.
Data on your device
So that the next round starts faster, the app stores locally on your device: the names and characters of the players entered last, the chosen game length, which questions of a pack have already been played, and your sound and vibration settings. You type the names yourself; nicknames work just as well. This data goes neither to me nor to anyone else.
In-app purchases
Apple alone processes purchases through the App Store. I never see your payment details. The app asks the App Store for the prices of the packs and only receives confirmation from Apple of which packs your Apple Account has bought; it then unlocks them. Purchases can be restored in the app under Settings, Restore Purchases (“Käufe wiederherstellen”) on any device signed in to the same Apple Account.
Internet connection
The app needs no internet connection to play; all questions are part of the app. A connection is made only to handle prices and purchases with Apple, and if you tap a link to my website; it opens in your browser.
App Store
You download the app from Apple's App Store. Apple processes data about the download, purchases and your Apple Account under its own responsibility; the Apple Privacy Policy applies. I never receive payment details. Apple gives me only aggregated sales and download figures that do not identify anyone.
If you have turned on "Share With App Developers" under Settings, Privacy & Security, Analytics & Improvements on your device, Apple also gives me crash reports and usage statistics for the app. Apple passes them on only in a form that does not identify you, and I use them only to find bugs. You can turn the option off there at any time.
Backups
Your device may include the app's data in an iCloud backup or in a backup on your computer. Your device settings decide whether and where that happens; iCloud backups are covered by Apple's Privacy Policy. I have no access to such backups.
Children
Quizabend is rated 16+ on the App Store because two packs deal with alcohol and suggestive themes. The app collects no personal data from anyone, including children.
Deleting data
You remove players before a game in the “Wer spielt mit?” list. Deleting the app removes all of its data from your device. Your purchases stay linked to your Apple Account and can be restored after reinstalling.
Your rights
I receive no personal data from the app. You manage the data on your device yourself. Apple answers requests about data it processes under its own responsibility.
Where I process personal data about you, you may, subject to the statutory conditions,
- request access to that data (Art. 15 GDPR),
- have inaccurate data corrected (Art. 16 GDPR),
- request erasure of your data (Art. 17 GDPR),
- request restriction of processing (Art. 18 GDPR), and
- receive your data in a common, machine-readable format (Art. 20 GDPR).
An informal message to info@tiborczekay.com or through the contact form is enough.
Right to object
Where I process data on the basis of Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR (legitimate interests), you may object to that processing at any time on grounds relating to your particular situation (Art. 21 GDPR). I will then stop processing the data unless I can demonstrate compelling legitimate grounds that override your interests, rights and freedoms, or the processing is needed to establish, exercise or defend legal claims.
Complaint to a supervisory authority
You may lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority, in particular in the member state of your habitual residence, your place of work or the place of the alleged infringement (Art. 77 GDPR).
Automated decisions
There is no automated individual decision-making, including profiling, within the meaning of Art. 22 GDPR.
