Product identity
The idea
Two kinds of work, kept apart.
Trutz Studio takes a folder of images and PDFs and removes what should not leave the building. Deterministic work such as metadata removal and PDF cleaning is checked on the finished bytes. Detecting names, identifiers and similar data is probabilistic, so a person confirms before anything is exported.
Measured
Recall, with its boundary.
On 1,040 generated and labelled German office documents, 23 categories of identifier have a published recall, stated as the lower bound of the 95 percent Wilson interval. The weakest are machine-readable zones at 85.4 percent and identity document numbers at 91.9 percent. Faces, plates, screens and signatures are marked as not measured, and the corpus contains no handwriting, so the figures do not cover them. A regression test fails the build when a category falls below its published bound.
Privacy
No network connection.
The app has no outgoing connection, analytics or licence server. It records which categories a file carried, such as GPS, and never the values.
Status
Built and measured, not released.
The Mac app was not released. The terms review and the trademark search from its release checklist are still open, and a Windows version was only started. It is retired and shown here as a record of the work.
