  • unrichtige Daten berichtigen lassen (Art. 16 DSGVO),

Summary

Antizipeer is a measuring tool for iPhone: it detects objects in the camera image, estimates their movement and shows the predicted path. Everything runs on your device. The app has no user account, no server, no advertising and no analytics or tracking, and it sends nothing to me or to anyone else.

Camera and depth

Antizipeer processes camera frames and, on iPhone Pro models with LiDAR, depth maps in real time to detect objects, estimate their movement and measure distances. Apple's Vision and Core ML frameworks do the detection on the device. The app does not save frames unless you take a snapshot yourself.

Motion data

The app reads motion, pedometer and activity data from iOS. It uses them to remove the phone's own movement from the measurement and to note whether you are walking during a recording. This data stays on the device.

Location

If you allow location access while using the app, Antizipeer adds an approximate location and the compass heading to recorded sessions so that you can place an outdoor recording later. The location stays on the device and is not used for navigation. Detection and prediction work the same without location access.

Spoken guidance

Spoken hints come from the iOS speech synthesiser on the device. Antizipeer does not use the microphone.

Recordings and snapshots

The app saves sessions as JSON Lines files in its own folder, which you can see in the Files app. They stay there until you delete them or remove the app. Through the iOS share sheet you can pass a session on as a JSONL or CSV file; you decide where it goes.

The app saves a snapshot only when you tap the shutter button. For that, iOS asks for a permission that only allows adding to your photo library. Antizipeer can neither read nor browse your existing photos.

A few settings, such as automatic recording, the prediction horizon and the depth features, are stored locally. They contain no personal data.

Permissions

Antizipeer asks for the camera when the live view starts, for Motion & Fitness when the sensors start, for location at first launch and for adding to Photos with the first snapshot. You can grant or revoke each permission in the iOS Settings app. Without a permission, only the feature that needs it is missing.

Internet connection

Detection, prediction, recording and review all work without an internet connection. A connection is made only if you tap a link to my website; it opens in your browser.

App Store

You download the app from Apple's App Store. Apple processes data about the download, purchases and your Apple Account under its own responsibility; the Apple Privacy Policy applies. I never receive payment details. Apple gives me only aggregated sales and download figures that do not identify anyone.

If you have turned on "Share With App Developers" under Settings, Privacy & Security, Analytics & Improvements on your device, Apple also gives me crash reports and usage statistics for the app. Apple passes them on only in a form that does not identify you, and I use them only to find bugs. You can turn the option off there at any time.

Backups

Your device may include the app's data in an iCloud backup or in a backup on your computer. Your device settings decide whether and where that happens; iCloud backups are covered by Apple's Privacy Policy. I have no access to such backups.

Children

Antizipeer is rated 4+ and collects no personal data from anyone, including children.

Deleting data

You delete individual recordings in the app. Removing the app deletes everything else. Snapshots in your photo library stay there until you delete them yourself.

Your rights

I receive no personal data from the app. You manage the data on your device yourself.

Where I process personal data about you, you may, subject to the statutory conditions,

  • request access to that data (Art. 15 GDPR),
  • have inaccurate data corrected (Art. 16 GDPR),
  • request erasure of your data (Art. 17 GDPR),
  • request restriction of processing (Art. 18 GDPR), and
  • receive your data in a common, machine-readable format (Art. 20 GDPR).

An informal message to info@tiborczekay.com or through the contact form is enough.

Right to object

Where I process data on the basis of Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR (legitimate interests), you may object to that processing at any time on grounds relating to your particular situation (Art. 21 GDPR). I will then stop processing the data unless I can demonstrate compelling legitimate grounds that override your interests, rights and freedoms, or the processing is needed to establish, exercise or defend legal claims.

Complaint to a supervisory authority

You may lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority, in particular in the member state of your habitual residence, your place of work or the place of the alleged infringement (Art. 77 GDPR).

Automated decisions

There is no automated individual decision-making, including profiling, within the meaning of Art. 22 GDPR.
